The sixth edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy Women’s competition, which this year saw FC Barcelona face Brighton & Hove Albion, ended in a 3–1 victory for the home side. Barcelona controlled the game from the outset and left a positive impression ahead of the new season. The goals were scored by Brugts, Pina and Graham for FC Barcelona, and Seike for Brighton. Patri Guijarro delivered the opening speech, marking the beginning of her new role as the team’s first captain.
